2. Views Ly Tong struggle for Democracy and Freedom as a purely political enterprise in the hope of bringing about the change of the Communist Regime, and restoring Human Rights and dignity to his beloved people.

3. Expresses its deep gratefulness and appreciation to distinguished officials from Federal, State, and Counties, as well as political, civic, media organizations, who have exerted their efforts in helping our hero, Mr. Ly Tong, during his imprisonment.

4.Respectfully urges his Majesty the King of Thailand, the Thai Government, and the Thai Judiciary System to exercise favorable discretion to prevent Ly Tong from being extradited to Communist Vietnam. Especially, it is most respectfully suggested that the Thai Government and the Thai Judiciary System not act in such a way as to rekindle the indelible sufferings and killings of thousands of our Vietnamese compatriots, especially women, who were at the mercy of Thai sea pirates during their saga to seek freedom from
1975 to 1990, and who received little or no assistance from the Thai authorities during that time.
